No. 004 (2025): Digitalization and Sustainable Development: Opportunities and Risks for Society and Business
The editorial board invites researchers, practitioners, and experts to submit papers exploring the role of digital technologies in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Digital transformation affects all spheres of life — from the economy and management to social inclusion and environmental protection. This issue aims to examine how digital innovations, while benefiting society and business, also generate new forms of inequality, dependency, and threats to sustainability.
We particularly welcome interdisciplinary research that brings together economics, sociology, management, public administration, information technology, and environmental studies.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
-
the impact of digital technologies (AI, blockchain, big data, IoT) on the implementation of the SDGs;
-
digital inequality, inclusion, and access to technology;
-
environmental efficiency of digital innovations and their role in reducing the carbon footprint;
-
digital business transformation and ESG integration;
-
sustainable data management and AI ethics;
-
labor market and employment changes in the digital era;
-
digital literacy, new competencies, and social adaptation;
-

Types of submissions invited:

The editorial team seeks contributions that offer new approaches, evidence, and solutions advancing a responsible, inclusive, and environmentally conscious digital economy.
